Adapting cities to the challenges of transition
Urbanization combined with overall population growth is expected to add another 2.5 billion people to urban areas by 2050. Cities and territories will thus be under increasing pressure to find sustainable solutions to meet the housing, infrastructure, energy and basic social needs of their inhabitants. In this session, we will discuss the challenges and investment opportunities in green urban planning and development which can spur low-carbon economic growth for decades to come.
