It is through systemic change and concerted actions between all actors in society that a transition to a low-carbon economy is possible. It is this conviction which is at the origin of the creation of the Transition Forum association and which drives its members. Today, it brings together a community of public and private decision-makers committed to ecological transition.
The association is a catalyst for concrete solutions responding to the challenges of ecological transition at the territorial level. It thus promotes innovative initiatives and the expertise of its members to decision-makers and investors, in order to encourage the multiplication of impact projects. It is also a relay of information developed on the theme of the transition to a low-carbon future.
Its actions are organized around three pillars:
- The annual Call for Expression of Interest (AMI) "Innovate for ecological transition", which aims to identify innovative ecological transition projects resulting from public-private cooperation and to highlight them to a community of more than 15,000 decision-makers, investors and committed actors. The five winners of the AMI, selected by a prestigious jury, will be announced during the TRANSITION FORUM in Paris, on November 14 and 15.
- The biannual magazine Time for Transition, which highlights solutions, concrete projects and ecological transition initiatives contributing to the construction of a more sustainable and less carbon-intensive world.
- The organization of events – the annual TRANSITION FORUM and the TERRITORIAL MEETINGS.
