V.I.R.T.Fac (Virtual Innovative Real Time Factory): Ein effizienter Weg zu Industrie 4.0: Planung des optimalen Produktionssystem zur richtigen Zeit
The VIRTFac (Virtual Innovative Real Time Factory) project is a French-German Offensive Science project that started in October 2019 for a duration of 3 years.
The progressive digitalisation of production resources allows for a more accurate measurement of the activities of its components. This gives a new role to digital tools for the reconfiguration, optimisation and evolution of production systems. They allow the information measured at various scales of the system to be linked to the overall performance of the factory. When integrated, these tools function as a virtual factory.
