Description

Presentation of the conclusions of the White Paper on the Automotive Industry in the Greater Region for 2025-2035 Like many other sectors, the automotive industry is facing a radical transformation : Covid crisis, electrification, Industry 4.0, autonomous driving, shared mobility, connectivity, Internet of Things, Big Data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, Digital Twins,... Technological developments but also user behavior and the demand for sustainable mobility are bringing the automotive industry to a tipping point. The crisis of the covid 19 has only accentuated these evolutions by questioning in depth, in particular, our relationship to mobility. It is in this context and within the framework of the European project PAE that the white paper "FUTURE MOVE" was created by the University of Liege and the partners of the PAE project. It gives an overview of how the automotive industry can or must evolve under the joint pressure of the various elements that position it on a path of disruption. This conference-meeting, which will bring together a panel of speakers with varied skills, will be an opportunity, based on the findings of the "FUTURE MOVE" white paper, to share the megatrends and innovations of the automotive industry, while pointing out the technological and societal challenges that the sector must face. The focus of this meeting will be on Industry 4.0 and its multiple implications on the automotive industry. Download the first presentation Download the second presentation
