Six universities and six universities of applied sciences from the Upper Rhine region have joined forces to enhance the cross-border Knowledge and Technology transfer (KTT). This cross-border network also includes business associations and companies. The aim is to bring science and business in the region closer together. The objectives of KTUR are: - To intensify, structure and professionalize cooperation among the transfer actors within the partner universities and between universities, intermediaries, and companies - To create a long-term network and a common identity in the area of KTT - To create joint cross-border KTT offers. What we offer: - Support and funding opportunities for start-ups and founders - Services and mechanisms for cooperations with academic partners - High-quality continuing education programs in various disciplines - Firsthand research and innovation experience with more than 12 partners through our innovation events The 12 partners of KTUR are: Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Universität Basel, Université Haute Alsace, Université Strasbourg, Universität Koblenz Landau, Hochschule Karlsruhe, Hochschule Offenburg, Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Hochschule Kaiserslautern, Hochschule Furtwangen, Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz. The KTUR project was launched in October 2019 and will run for three years. The EU supports KTUR within the framework of the INTERREG V program and, on the Swiss side, the two participating universities are being supported with federal and cantonal funds from the cantons of Aargau, Basel-Landschaft and Jura.
