Jean-Louis Carrasco, 54 years old, has been Urban Logistics Director of La Poste mail and Parcel since 2015. He is also VP Transports of the CARA, European cluster for Mobility Solutions.
With a master of International Marketing, Jean-Louis Carrasco began his career in Fedex in accounts receivable and Customs clearance France and Spain. He joined UPS in Madrid. In 1996 he joined Chronopost (La Poste Group express subsidiary) where he was in charge of developing the Customer Service and Experience (Call centers, voice recognition and internet). Then he became in 2005 New Services Director of Colissimo where he developed offers to improve the customer’s experience (parcel lockers, shipping online integrated to marketplaces as eBay, Paypal, Rakuten)
He joined the Group La Poste as Innovation Director and developed offers for Merchants and e-commerce solutions (Box e-Commerce).Today he is in charge of developing and implementing innovative solutions in Urban Logistics (Cargo Bikes for urban first and last mile). He’s exploring the autonomous vehicules technology to help in urban logistics.
