Samuel Barco Serrano is a senior researcher, consultant, activist and Social entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in political science research and an extensive international experience in the field of social entrepreneurship development. He has successfully completed assignments for the most relevant international actors (European Commission, World Bank, European Social Fund, OECD, CAF, ILO, etc.) and several governments (South Africa, Poland, Slovakia, Greece, etc.) in three continents. He has also collaborated with various international social economy organisations (CICOPA, ICA, REVES, etc), participating actively in several boards. Co-founder and CEO of the international consulting Cooperative SOKIO and Senior Expert on Social Entrepreneurship Policy at DIESIS Network, he has also been Senior Consultant and Vice-president of the International Consulting firm “Servicio de Conocimiento Asociado” (a Coop too) (2006-2012). He holds two Masters, one in Political Science (UNED University) and another in International Relations and Communication (Complutense University).
