Kate has worked in the public sector in Australia for two decades and took on the position of Senior Executive, Australian National Contact Point, in 2019. Kate also has responsibility for consumer affairs and is responsible for the regulatory and policy framework affecting consumers, including the Australian Consumer Law. She has worked across several different policy portfolios at the national and state levels of government in Australia, and has tertiary qualifications including a Masters degree in Environmental Education, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Science.
