Presentation

Katja Schechtner is a senior urban scientist at MIT who develops new technologies and shapes innovative policies to keep cities on the move. In her position as Advisor for Innovation and Technology at the International Transport Forum/OECD she led the research on blockchain for transport. At the OECD Global Blockchain Policy Forum she will present case studies from the upcoming report: "Forging links - Unblocking Transport with Blockchain". Previously she led the transport technology program at the Asian Development Bank; advised the Inter-American Development Bank and the EU Commission on Smart City strategy and headed an applied research lab for Mobility at the Austrian Institute of Technology.
