Description
Chemical engineer by profession, with a master's degree in Economics of Natural Resources and Sustainable Development, both from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I was part of the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change for 8 years where I participated in the Fourth and Fifth national communications on climate change before the UNFCCC, as well as in the first biennial report of the country. Subsequently, I collaborated with WRI in the elaboration of the emissions inventories of the Mexican cities of Merida and Guadalajara. Currently I work as Director of Climate Change at Pronatura Mexico, where I am in charge of ecosystem-based adaptation and emissions mitigation projects.
