Description
Director General in charge of Mexico’s 2030 Agenda Office at the Ministry of Economy since March 2021. Worked on the design and operation of pro-micro, small and medium-sized enterprises governmental policy from December 2018 to February 2021 at the same ministry. Before joining the Mexican Government, worked as programmes director for several local and national civil society initiatives on Care Work Equity, Access to Natural Common Goods and Disasters Recovery and Prevention. Was also part of the Poverty Reduction, Human Development and Millennium Development Goals cluster for Latin America and the Caribbean at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York City, and Executive Coordinator of the Human Development Research Office at UNDP in Mexico City. Holds an MSc in Public Policy from University College London, and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the Centre for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) in Mexico City.
