Description
Environmental Engineer and Master in Management and Integrated Watershed Management. She also has professional training in public policy advocacy, conflict transformation, popular education, gender and rurality.
She has led and participated in development and research processes for the integrated management of watersheds and the strengthening of community water management. She has participated in advocacy spaces such as the water team during the federal transition period 2018, in the methodological coordination of the systematization process of the Forums for the construction of the General Water Law led by the Commission of Hydraulic Resources, Drinking Water and Sanitation of the Chamber of Deputies and in the technical advice for the drafting of the initiatives of the Law for the Integral Management of Water in Chiapas and the General Water Law.
He currently collaborates with the Cántaro Azul Foundation, directing the NuestrAgua Community Management Program, which aims to increase the fulfillment and exercise of human rights associated with water in rural areas of Chiapas through the consolidation of Community Water Management and Sanitation.
